I've just discovered that my books have been 'scraped' by an AI tool, which has accessed LibGen (Library Genesis, full of pirated material). No permission was sought from my publisher or me, and no payment offered. The EU is doing more to protect its authors than the UK (surprise, surprise), but find out here what the Society of Authors is doing and what you can do if you believe, as I do, that this behaviour is reprehensible.
